American Basketball Association
American Basketball Association (Amerykańskie Stowarzyszenie Koszykówki) to profesjonalna liga koszykówki męskiej w Stanach Zjednoczonych, która została założona w 1999 roku przez dwóch przedsiębiorców, Joe Newmana i Richarda Tinkhama. Liga zrzesza 78 drużyn z USA, Kanady, Meksyku oraz Japonii.
Nie należy mylić jej z ligą o tej samej nazwie, która istniała w latach 1967–1976.
Każdy zespół może dołączyć do ligi, pod warunkiem, że jego właściciele zapłacą odpowiednią kwotę wpisowego. Władze ligi nie weryfikują wiarygodności ani wypłacalności właścicieli. Z tego powodu, do grudnia 2008 roku ligę opuściło ponad 200 drużyn, a latem 2014 roku liczba ta wzrosła do ponad 350.
