Alexis Wright
Alexis Wright (urodzona 25 listopada 1950 roku) to australijska pisarka, nauczycielka akademicka oraz przedstawicielka ludności Aborygeńskiej.
Życiorys
W swojej karierze zdobyła liczne nagrody literackie, w tym Queensland Premier’s Literary Awards, Nagrodę im. Milesa Franklina, ALS Gold Medal (wszystkie za powieść Karpentaria) oraz dwukrotnie Victorian Premier’s Prize (za powieści Karpentaria i The Swan Book).
Jest dwukrotną laureatką nagrody Stella Prize (w latach 2018 i 2024).
Alexis jest mężatką i ma troje dzieci. Obecnie mieszka w Melbourne.
