Alexandre François

Alexandre François (urodzony 28 marca 1972) to francuski językoznawca, który specjalizuje się w zagrożonych językach Melanezji.

Wprowadził do dziedziny językoznawstwa pojęcie „koleksyfikacja” (ang. colexification), które opisuje sytuację, w której różne języki wykorzystują jeden wyraz do wyrażenia dwóch lub więcej znaczeń, w odróżnieniu od innych języków, które w takich przypadkach stosują rozróżnienie leksykalne.
