Alan Cameron (urodzony 13 marca 1938, zmarły 31 lipca 2018 w Nowym Jorku) był brytyjskim historykiem oraz filologiem klasycznym, specjalizującym się w bizantynologii.
Ukończył Oxford University w 1964 roku. Od 1977 roku prowadził wykłady na Columbia University.
