Adam Łajtar
Adam Łajtar (ur. 1960) to polski historyk antyku, papirolog, nubiolog, archeolog, epigrafik, profesor doktor habilitowany.
Życiorys
Ukończył Uniwersytet Warszawski, gdzie również uzyskał stopień doktoratu oraz habilitacji. Obecnie jest profesorem w Zakładzie Papirologii Instytutu Archeologii na Wydziale Historycznym Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Pełni funkcję przewodniczącego Komisji Wydawniczej Komitetu Nauk o Kulturze Antycznej w Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Jest jednym z redaktorów czasopisma „The Journal of Juristic Papyrology”.
